Wrapcandy Forum News : ATTENTION FIREFOX USERS -- PLEASE READ
Posted by ryansaw on 2008/10/14 12:10:00 (481 reads)

The forum is using a Protection script which helps keep the forum safe from various attacks.

Firefox uses a feature called prefetch which acts like it is attcking the site. Please turn the feature off or use IE instead. You may get a lot of blank pages if you don't.

Here are instructions:

Did you know that Firefox has a feature that caches pages that it thinks you are going to click on? This can slow down system performance. Here’s how to disable the Firefox prefetch setting.

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press ENTER.

2. Locate and double-click the entry for
network.prefetch-next

3. Set it to false to disable this feature. Double-clicking on the setting will change it.

Upgrade to the latest 7.0 version.. Avoid 8 as it is still a beta. That should fix the problem.
