Why Do I Allow People to Share their NEW Creations?

My reasoning is that if those who are trying to make a living by selling new creations produce quality products, those products will sell if they have adequate traffic to their sites. There is free clip art all over the internet, but that doesn’t keep my clip art from selling. Some people simply can’t afford to buy these types of extras…and they’re not going to make purchases whether there are freebies out there or not.

At the same time, there are people (mostly ladies, but a few crafty men as well) who LOVE to make new things and share those things with their friends. It’s an outlet for their creativity, and they have giving hearts. By allowing the “shares,” it blesses the giver and the receiver.

Simplified Terms of Use

1. Use the artwork to create something new for personal or commercial use.

These graphics must be incorporated into something new that you’ve created yourself. In other words, they can’t be re-sold AS the original graphics you receive within other graphic collections (including blank, uncustomized siggys and avatars, psp tubes, and formats that are transparent). This artwork may not be used in any type of mass production, and when using in digital scrapbook kits, they must be merged/flattened onto something else (such as a frame, tag, or background paper), or you may add a sticker border. Kits created for the purpose of resale should not contain more than 50% of the collection purchased (e.g. if a collection you purchase from me has 10 images, please only use 5 of those images per kit). If you would like to use them “as is” to include in your kits (and use the whole collection if you like), you can purchase from the “Clip Art for Resale” category at DigiScrapKits.com.

2. Give proper credit to the original artist.

Credit for the artwork should be stated as “________created using artwork by Trina Clark” on all web pages and packaging where these designs are displayed…and a link, when possible, should be provided to www.digiscrapkits.com.

I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying that can be sold. Example I bought Christmas Friends3. Can I cut them with my cricut and package them to sell on etsy as a kit for scrap books or making cards etc.? and by putting on the page: Created using artwork by Trina Clark” on all web pages and packaging where these designs are displayed…and a link, when possible, should be provided to http://www.digiscrapkits.com. And on the packaging itself?
