I am getting a new computer with Windows. 11. I am a lifetime user of WC.
If I just sign in with my username and password will I be able to download the 7.4 version that I currently use?
Thanks for the help.

Hi again! I was successful with installing WC on my new computer.
However, I can't remember how to get the font to preview without having to actually select it.
It's been a while.

I am suffering from a head cold and my brain is really foggy so this probably isn't the answer you are looking for.
The only way I know of to preview the text is when I click on text, and when the box comes up, each time I click on a different text it shows the preview in the box on the bottom right.
Jenel will be on so maybe she can give you the answer you need.

Glad you got WC installed:)

Before I changed computers if I typed a word and scrolled through the fonts I could see how it would look without having to click OK.
So, I could preview them before actually selecting one. Hope this makes sense.

@kazoo, on your old computer did you use "Font Viewer" (nothing to do with WC)
It is built in to windows.
Just go to the bottom of your screen and type in Font Viewer in the search box. If the app is already installed, click on open, type something and then when you click on any font you will be able to view it before accepting it.
If, when you search and it is not already installed there will be an option to install it.

WC would automatically do that. I did download Font Viewer but, that isn't what I was hoping to do.
Thank you for the help!

@kazoo Well, I am totally stumped. I have been a member since 2007 and I have never seen that. I have been playing with all the font settings this morning and couldn't find a way of doing that. If there is a way, I sure would like to know because that would be really handy. If you ever figure it out please let us know. Maybe one of the original members will pop in and if they know how, they will share that info with us:)

I'm not positive but I think she is talking about it being the same as "Font Viewer". So, if you had WC open and started to type eg: Wrapcandy or whatever, the font you chose by clicking on it would actually change on what you were creating, not on the font list that pops up. So each time you click on a different font it changes on your project without having to click okay on that font list until you find the one you want.

Glad we got that part solved lol. I have tried every font setting in WC but can't make it do that. I honestly don't remember ever being able to do that in WC but then again, I can't remember what I did 5 minutes ago. I just have "Font Viewer" in my task bar and use that. Sorry I couldn't help, but like I said before, maybe one of the old time members will come on and be able to help:)
