Solved Linux and Wrapcandy

Hi,

I would like to say that I have just tried Wrapcandy on my Linux computer and IT WORKS!

For those with a linux computer all you need is the latest WC application (downloaded from your account page) and WINE installed on your linux machine.

Installing WINE:

All you need to is install WINE with the following command in your terminal:
sudo apt install wine winetricks -y (you may be asked to enter your password for your computer)

Installing WC on your linux:
Navigate to where you downloaded your WC download to and open a terminal window from that directory.

At the terminal prompt just type:
wine setup.exe

Go through the setup with the defaults and it will install WC on your computer and place an icon on your desktop. Double click the icon and it will load.

You can then register the app as normal.

Thank you for your help. TBH I am old.... and have no idea what Linux is. The WINE bit I comprehend but I think it might be a different thing from what you are talking about, lol.

Hm, agree, wine to me means......well you know lol.
Technology gives me a brain meltdown..,..hence the need for wine
